BACKGROUND

Disopyramide is an antiarrhythmic medication used in the treatment of ventricular tachycardia. It is a sodium channel blocker and therefore classified as a Class 1a anti-arrhythmic agent. Disopyramide has a negative inotropic effect on the ventricular myocardium, significantly decreasing contractility. Disopyramide also has an anticholinergic effect on the heart which accounts for many adverse side effects. Disopyramide is administered both orally and intravenously and has a low degree of toxicity.

SPECIFICATION SUMMARY

Antigen: Disopyramide conjugated to KLH.

Host Species: Mouse

Specificity: These antibodies recognize disopyramide.

APPLICATIONS

These antibodies have been qualified for use in ELISA to detect disopyramide.

DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS

Dilute in PBS or medium that is identical to that used in the assay system.

STORAGE AND STABILITY

These antibodies are stable for at least one (1) year at -20oC to -70oC. Store product in appropriate aliquots to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

For in vitro investigational use only. Not for use in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures.
